Heart Quilts

I found a pattern I loved online and purchased it. I followed the instructions and got everything cut and pieced and with my daughter's help, in some semblance of a pattern. I made this for her beloved Jordyn from Trenton, NS. It was well received. I had so much extra fabric, I made a similar one for Alice who lives in Calgary.

Tenleigh's Quilt

I made a quilt for my friends Doug and Mary for their chosen granddaughter's new baby, Tenleigh. It was a new pattern for me called the 10 minute block. It was easy to do and you'll probably see more of this pattern. there is also a picture of the quilt label I had made for the quilt.

Back in the Saddle

I'm back again, after not being here for quite a while. I have made several quilts and I'll be posting pictures of the finished products. My latest was an altered nine patch quilt for a gal who's on the Fire Department with my husband. I got it pieced and it had a load of pink, and he informs me it's a boy. So I made sashing of aqua then blue. I got it all quilted and at a meeting a week later, had her inform us she's having a girl. ARRrrrgggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I started all over again, and I'm making a pink one now. I purchased 4 charm packs from Sew Sisters called "Foliage" by Moda. I can't decide what pattern to make for my living room, so I'm setting that aside for now and working on a few Christmas items. Pictures will be posted soon.
